    meant to post sooner.
My prius turned 1 on 6/13. Have 35K miles on it now.
    No major problems.
    Tire are wearing extremely well.
Still need to work on the brake issue, but will wait for toyota on that one.

Had something weird happen the other day. I always keep the ECO mode on.
Been cruising at about 80. Had to go to 90 to pass someone. then let off the gas all the way and put the cruise back on set to 80.
The ECO light did not return. It stayed off, for about 20 miles till I got into some traffic.

Anyone ever experience their ECO light not coming on during high speeds?
wonder if it is a glitch with the light, or was ECO mode "turned off" for some reason.

    wow. 35k in a year.
just wondering what kind of mileage do you get doing 80 for prolonged periods?
the only time i went that fast was when i picked up the car from the dealer when i first got it and i couldnt tell i was doing 80 because its so darn quiet.

In the EU-version the Eco-light stays lit until you drive faster then 143 km/h (90 mph) then it goes off, and it stays off until you slow down to 139 km/h (87mph) or lower. Maybe the US version had got the same system but with different speeds?

During the winter it was about 45mpg.. now with the warmer weather it is just around 50mpg.

Started setting the cruise to 70 and I am now up to 60MPG.
That is the slowest I can go without getting killed on the Garden State Parkway.
