    Hello,

I replaced the Brake ABS and Brake Acctuator.

I disconnected the 12v batter and the orange safety plug to the hybrid batter before removing and installing the brake parts.

The orange plug is back in, and the 12v battery is almost new.

When in 'Ready' mode, the car won't go into drive. Only Park and Neutral.

How can I do more troubleshooting in TechStream?

I don't think it would go into "Ready" mode if the safety plug wasn't installed correctly.

Thank you all for the help!

    2 new findings:

1 - I didn't have the orange 'slide' pushed in. I slid the orange lock back in place.

2 - Error code U0129 Lost connection with brake system control module.

I bough the 'new' part from a junk yard, so it's very possible that the new brake booster has a bad brake control module. I plan on swapping the bad part back in the car and testing to see if the error goes away. If it does, I'll have to order yet another brake booster.

    I'll update y'all when it's done!

    Just an update,

I put the old brake master cylinder in the prius, and the "Check Hybrid System" alert went away. Therefore, the problem was that the ECU didn't like the Lexus master cylinder, even though the part was supposed to be a direct fit.

The old errors did return, but my original problem that started this post has been solved. Thank you!
