Do any of you know if Toyota dealer can change the keyless entry setting on a 2010 Pruis? When I enter the car from the driver side, only the driver side door unlocks, but if I enter the car from the passenger side, both doors unlock at the same time. Can the dealer change the setting to both doors open entering from the driver side?

You can change it yourself in a few minutes.
In my Owners Manual its under "switching door unlock function" on page 48

Yup you can have it changed to global unlock for any door or local unlock at any door or the default which is what you described (local for driver, global for the pass. and the hatch)

Hi. Um when I get into my new 2010 prius iv, well go up to one of the doors I should say. If I go to the passenger door just that door unlocks if I go to the trunk just the trunk unlocks but if I do to the drivers door all doors unlock.

    THANK YOU!

??? That setup doesn't exist in any Toyota vehicle.

It worked! Coolness! It is on page 48 in my US manual. Thank you so much from saving me a trip to the dealer! :)

It also worked for my new 2010 2, but now THE ALARM SOUNDS EVERY TIME THE DOOR IS OPENED. The locks all unlock and a second later, after the driver door opens, the alarm starts. It does not stop until I hit the unlock button on the key fob. I have to go back to the dealer on this one.

Yeah that's the dealer's problem. You probably had a dealer-installed alarm system, right?
