2010 to 2011 Nav System Upgrades?

    Did Toyota do any upgrades to the Nav system in the 2011 Prius or is the system unchanged from 2010?

    Probably has the same crappy NAV display, unlike the beautiful crystal clear one in the Prius v.

    Not that I know of. Toyota generally upgrades their navigation system every 3-4 years.

    Gen 6 - 2010 - ?
    Gen 5 - 2006-2009/2010
    Gen 4 - 2003-2005/2006
    Gen 3 - 2000-2002

    I've upgraded and found added detail in my area with new bridges and cloverleaf updates in place. Found better street numbering and road renaming too.

    Haven't seen anything written yet that summarizes all changes, but do agree with html spinner that the hands free blue-tooth phone connections have become noticably faster than the previous two releases.

    There's a PDF somewhere that has all the updates for the latest disc. Most of them are in Metro Vancouver lol. The ones outside of the Lower Mainland are mostly updated highways.

    did you see any differance in the audio system? any new controls for sound for better adjustability? or is it just the maps and a BT bug update?
