Is it possible to change the oil change reminder from displaying every 5k miles to rather 10k miles??

    Thank you

It only takes 5 seconds to reset, do it twice

    Not that I know.
Toyota Service would LOVE it if your return more often, even if it's only for cursory inspections and tire rotations.
    See Ya in 5.

But if you have decided on 10,000 mile intervals?
    Yeah...it's pretty easy to reset.

The 5k reminder is also for tire rotations and fluid level checks, things that I would rather do myself. Easy enough to reset, and I change my own oil around 7500-9000 miles.

But to answer your question, no - it can't be changed to 10k intervals.

    Rebound and fuzzy1 like this.

Yes, and if you choose to change at intervals of x miles, where x is between 5000 and 10,000, just reset it at about x-5000.

If you're using synthetic oils, there is no "critical" time to do the oil changes. I think anywhere between 5000-10000 would be a safe area. So do it when you have time......whenever it's convenient.
