Hey everyone! I have been stalking the board since 2009...and earlier this week finally bought my first Prius! I'm excited to finally be 'in the club.' We purchased a 2010 IV w/ Sunroof, nav and 47,500 miles.

My question is this - what mods/additions should be next?
I've already had all-weather mats added, and had the reverse beep set to single beep. I don't have a USB port (or S.O.S button). So adding the USB interface is high on my list. I'm also interested in adding the fog lights sold through the PriusChat shop. Finally, are there any inexpensive options for updating the Nav disc?

Is there anything else that a lot of people have done and love for a modification?

    Thanks!

Congrats rigby! Some of us have lowered our prius & have aftermarket wheels for performance & appearance factor if your into those kinda things;). Also, as u indicated fog lights plus HID would further enhance the look up front.

Thanks for your responses. I hadn't thought about HIDs up front...I've never had them before. I'll search around for some information. The only thing that worries me about those is I've heard the replacement cost is very high...but I'll take a look anyway. I don't really think I'll be doing much in terms of lowering or anything like that. I might end up buying a set of rims, but they'd be cheap ones for a set of snows. Most likely will just have snows put on my factory rims though.

    Thanks again!

I really enjoy the fog lights. I'm quite proud of myself for having installed them and having them work on the first try. There is a HUGE thread on them under the accessories forum.

Totally understandable on not wanting to lower it. As for HID's replacement cost. It may have been expensive in the past but aftermarket HID's have come a long way & could be had anywhere from $40-200. Also most are pretty reliable & easy to install(plug & play). Just do a search on HID in prius chat & you'll get alot of info:).

Thanks all - would probably like to do remote start before winter, too. Great ideas!
