2011 prius, AC went out, rattling noise in engine compartment

    The other day of when I was coming home from work the AC went out and started blowing hot air. The following morning I started up my car and noticed there was a rattling coming from the engine compartment. Any idea what may be causing this noise or why no AC.

    Poor fuel can be the cause, too much water in the gas will cause this. Also these are known to do this on cold mornings or after a few days of sitting even on a hot day.
