Can I assume its(the 2011) identical with the exception of black paint and an increased top speed?

Yep they added power lumbar to all trim levels.

And that new black/bisque color combo.

Looks like everything else is much the same, including options.

Will be interesting to see if they increased prices for 2011.

Pretty much the same as 2010.

The information is conflicting, the Interior specs say power lumbar, but when you look at trim levels, it says IV contains all III features and adds power lumbar... So, which is it? All or just IV and V like the 2010s?

So in 2011 there will be a Prius One? It will have 4 speakers instead of 6? Looking at Prius builds the One makes the Two look like it's feature packed. Watch out Ronson, pretty soon there will be Prius One owners who'll swear up and down that the Two is a waste of money.
The top speed is 103 for 2010 and 112 for 2011? Or is the 103 top speed referred to GenII?

I'm betting the Prius I is for fleet sales, doubt you'll find any on dealer lots. It says the power lumbar is in the fabric trim seats, which would mean the II and III I imagine!

I hope so. Forcing people to take leather (and everything else on a IV) just for power lumbar is quite a bit (moreso in Canada cause leather is only available on the top package and thus power lumbar is only available on the top package which is $10k more than the base model)

Doesn't look like anything new of note in the 2011 Prius. Oh well, so much for hoping for a 2-door Prius coupe with 4-wheel independent suspension. Although, I wonder if Toyota will at least have enough sense to replace the existing dorky 15" wheel covers with something better since it won't cost them anything?

Maybe a better question to ask is whether Toyota will aggressively discount the pricing on the 2010 Priuses still hanging around before the 2011's show up in a few months since it doesn't look like there's any reason to hold out for a 2011. One would think not, and Toyota will simply scale back 2011 Prius production to match lower demand.

I think it would be a great move if Toyota adds power or even mechanical adjustable lumbar support in the fabric seats. Customers have been asking for this for 10 years. I happen to not need it, but it's sad to see people just about need to sell their cars for lack of a painfree solution for lumbar support.

I'd be surprised if they do add lumbar in the fabric seats. I thought they contract for the seats in huge quantities that aren't favorable to such changes, but don't really know. They sure didn't change the seats one bit for 6 years in the Gen2.

I wouldn't see the Prius as a 2 door coupe with ind. rear suspension. It's a family car with 134 HP and mild manners.

Look to a used Civic Si hatchback or the upcoming CT200h if you can take the extra 2 doors.

It's available with cloth seats in other countries... I don't remember if they're RHD or LHD though.

We have power lumber support in fabric seats in the UK (RHD). It is standard across the range. I even have it in my base T3 model.

The top speed is the same as the 2010, 112 MPH. The +9 refers to the increase in top speed over the Gen2 as noted above by 32K. In fact it looks like they just copied the 2010 spec sheet, everything listed is the same as far as I can tell except for the power lumbar support.

I think the top speed of the Gen2 was about 103, but the speedometer error was 3 MPH at that speed so a lot of people who tried it posted it as 106 or 107.

Yes, I have it in my 2010 G3 IV. No big deal.

I'd rather have, and would pay for it - power seats with memory. Number of family members use the G3, and it's a pain to have to manually reajust the seat everytime ...since I'm much bigger than everybody else in the family that uses the G3.
