2011 Toyota Prius III 12v Cigarette Lighter issues

    I own a 2011 Toyota Prius III, specifically the model with a JBL sound system. Due to its age, I use a Bluetooth FM transmitter to play songs from my phone and over time it is my belief that I somehow drew too much power, or strained the 12v ports through constant power draw, because it has now began to randomly turn off and on especially while plugged into my phone (when it's drawing more power).

    If it's a cheap chinese one, that is normal.
    You could also plug it into the outlet that is only power when the car is on.
