134000 miles, a week ago my Prius had an hybrid error with 4 lights but I was able to start it and get it to the dealership while at the dealership 2 the traction thing and the abs turned off.. Main battery was culprit, new battery was installed. Worked fine until this morning, got in my car and pressed the button, check hybrid 4 lights like before plus red battery and red steering wheel.

The 4 lights are the triangle, the traction thing, abs, and engine.

I'm at work I can provide pictures tonight.

Was the replacement hybrid battery free? Just curious.

Do you have anything constantly plugged into the OBD port? I've had that cause errors, using a scangauge all the time.

Just because it's easy, I would start by checking the voltage on the 12 volt battery. Best approach would be to leave the hood popped the night before, then check it first thing in the morning with a digital multi-meter at the jump start point, before opening any doors, disturbing the car in any way. If it's reading at least 12.6 volts, I would head for the dealership next, see what codes they get.

Check gas cap is tight too.

very early for hybrid battery to fail. I'm wondering if they completely misdiagnosed with that battery swap. Did they document the codes, show you a printout?

I didnt get to see the codes at that time and it was literally the one time I didnt have the obd2 in my car. So I never saw them, the code that showed up today is peoa6. But it seems to have cleared itself. And the car starts

Yeah 12.8 volts at the jump place. Figured it was good. So the code I saw on my reader later that night was poae6 I cleared it and everything was fine, 2 days later I got poae7. Any ideas?

google says 'hybrid battery recharge contractor' first one is low, second is high. not sure what or where that is. a thread here was the inverter, but there were other codes as well.

what is the history of the car?

134000 miles oil changes every 7000 miles or so
I am the second owner bought in 2017
Main hybrid battery replaced with a new Toyota one about 2 weeks ago
They did the recall update when they replaced the battery

    Original owner purchased in Arizona
I purchased in Oregon then later that year moved to Phoenix
It had 89000 miles on it when I bought it
    What more do you want?
Isolated what causes the poae7 error pops up when on an inclined plane like a driveway

Dr Prius and torque show the same errors, using a carista.

i guess the next step is the service manual then, to figure out what is causing the different codes on the inclines

Time to go see the Service Manager. Someone's not doing their job right back there. Get a free tow out of it too.
