    I have a '12 v5 without the ATP package.

Was wondering if the Auto Level Control in the audio system works or not. I can't seem to notice any difference in volume level no matter what setting I choose. Any one else have this issue?

(Sorry if this has been addressed before.....direct me to the thread if it exists)

Are you talking about the ASL-auto sound level? If that is the case, it only works when you are driving depending on noise level. You should be able to test it while driving on the road and try switching the level from low to high and vice versa and see if the volume of your sound changes.

Yeah, talking about the ASL in the audio system. Tried numerous times driving, starting, stopping, high, low, etc. Doesn't have any noticeable effect.
Used this type of system in Fords, GMs, etc and they work well. Any suggestions?
(and don't suggest buy a Ford or GM!

There is a subtle change but not like my honda. This is something toyota needs to address.
