Can you reach the wheel with your right fingers at all if your elbow is on the front edge of the center console armrest?

I would say that you could hold the wheel position, but it'd be difficult to steer with any precision. Probably fine on the highway, which is what I feel you're asking...

obviously the touch tracer and entune are only applicable to the packages that have them..

also, the front headlights and the turn signals have those raised areas not for aerodynamics.. but for visibility.

i wouldn't really call these "easter eggs"... you're just listing off informational stuff that most would otherwise figure out... i would moreso classify.. holding the trip button while the odo reading is displaying as an easter egg..

even though that information is in the owner's manual..

Thanks for the post! I'm sure everyone learned at least one new thing from this. I had no idea there was a storage area for the rear right seatbelt! Thank you

I'd be interested in reading more about this. Visibility for what? Increased light output in some manner?

I don't think there are any true easter eggs in our cars, but if this thread helps people notice/realize things that they wouldn't otherwise, I'm okay with it. :)

This should be helpful for newbies! Thanks!

I would say the turn signal one isn't for aerodynamics but so that the amber light is more visible from the side.

Thanks, I was hoping the center armrest would move as its too far back. Guess I wasn't pushing hard enough!

for visibility, it allows... better... visibility.. the light from the bulb already just goes everywhere.. but those spots capture some of that light and make it easier for cars to see at different angles.

i suppose if we're going to make this thread informative... and for those too lazy to read thru their owner's manual..

remember.. DO NOT BLOCK OR COVER THE VENT under the driver side rear seat.. it's the intake vent.. and the exhaust vent is on the passenger side in the trunk area.

There's a tiny false bottom secret compartment in the arm rest... :)

Well, okay, not quite secret if you've already read thru the manual...

I distinctly remember some Toyota spokesdroid saying that they added a bump to the headlight assembly to affect the aerodynamics around the side view mirrors.

I dont remember that! But they made a huge point of it being on the taillights.
Then I was really looking on my car and i seen it by the mirrors and on the headlights.

And the regular prius has a bump like that on its turn signals too!
