2017 Prius Prime Advanced Roof Rack Yakima Fit

    I have a new 2017 Prius Prime. Yakima has a fit for the 2017 Prius but not for the Prius Prime. Can anyone tell me if there is anything different with the roof and doors? It looks exactly the same to me and the Toyota bars look more flimsy that the Yakima. Also I have bike carriers and bars from my 2009 Prius. Has anyone tried this?

    Bars 48' Round
    8000146 Baseline Towers
    8006123 Front Clips
    8006169 Back Clips

    Are listed for the 2017 Prius.

    I have the same question! I might call Yakima directly. They have been super helpful in the past.

    I already did they said they couldn't sell it with any warranty until it was tested for fit. Doesn't sound like they are planning that anytime soon.

    Buy it from a store with a great return policy. REI is one good choice.

    These parts are specified for 2017-2020 per Yakima fit guide.

    I am looking for a pair of the Yakima Q169 Clips.....so far no luck. I’d be willing to pay reasonable amount plus postage if anyone has a spare pair.

    I made my my 2010 yakima racks fit my 2020 prime! Cut the bars shorter.adjust the clamps higher and it works fine. I do get noise ! Frount faring would calm that down. Placement is about 6" from the windshield and the back one 32" from the front. I have not been able to try it out on vacattion yet but I'm sure all will be well! Be carefull as the Prime dents easy!!!
