Black vinyl is not good for 2 reasons: 1) Will increase drag & 2) Will significantly increase interior temps in summer. Yes, your tint will give some help there. But both will affect gas mileage -- IMHO

Adding vinyl wrap to the roof won't increase drag, for the same reason that waxing a car or taping seams won't decrease it: the velocity profile of the boundary layer is zero at the car's surface, and whatever surface roughness or imperfections are introduced with vinyl aren't significant enough in comparison with boundary layer thickness to have an effect. And yes, this has been wind tunnel-tested, by Gary Eaker at A2.
