    Good morning!
Sincere apologies if this has been posted, I've not been able to find it.

I've had this Prius for almost 3 years, so I'm pretty familiar with how it runs in multiple situations.
Last Sunday I had a huge fiasco where the engine started chugging, the check engine light came on, as did the hybrid system warning light. Long story short I had it towed to a transmission shop, and they discovered that a vacuum hose had come off. They reattached it, and the car ran fine (phew!).

This morning however, driving to work (30 min into a 35 min drive) the car stopped going into EV mode when it ought to (eg rolling to a stop for a light), and instead revved unpredictably. I tried forcing it to EV mode, but it gave me the three beeps of nopeness :(

    Any thoughts/advice/warnings/anecdotes?

EV is triggered electrically, but from the revving unpredictably comment, engine seems to be ungoverned or without feedback control. You may have another vacuum or electrical connector loose.

Oh wonderful, thanks! I'm always a little more relaxed about issues if I have a vague idea going in

    Booooo more issues!

So this morning I found my OBDII and ran a scan, as the car was still acting peculiarly. No codes... Ok, maybe it's an old battery and cold temperatures?

Nope, leaving my driveway today (car still fairly warm from the last trip), it revved fairly high, made a chug, then lit up the check engine and the hybrid system warning lights. Now it's throwing code 3190 :(

I'll see if I can squeeze it in at the transmission shop tomorrow, hopefully I can limp it there

And for those of you following along at home, the repair required this time was the other end of the same vacuum hose.
It seems that there is a TSB out for what seems to be exactly this problem: T-SB-0041-15
Codes P0A0F, P3190, P0171 due to Purge VSV vacuum line separation.

It's still not working quite right, so I'm likely going to have to contact Toyota about getting it fixed.

Yep! Although when I took it in yesterday I brought up that it might be the battery, so they tested it. They said it was totally within range
