2014 prius v wagon transmission skipped on acceleration then grabbed happening more than before

    Hi . My wagon V has been feeling like a transmission stall or 5sec upon acceleration then pics up. Sometimes it feels longer like 10 seconds like if its in neutral , but from a stop to go positioning. Once it gets going it goes normally. Thoughts ?

    Possibly a loss of power and then it smooths out. Ever hear a bad rattle or shake when it starts in the morning?

    Are you driving more lately in the early morning or late evening hours when the pavement might be WET from condensation ?
    If you can, try turning the traction control OFF for a while.

    I'll turn off control thx

    Ok thx for advice on egr. Ill get it cleaned

    No

    No lights come on.

    Any different dash warning lights come on during slippage?
    This seems almost impossible without complete transmission failure........

    Its not so much a slip persay, but rather a signal delay feeling from pedal pressure to acceleration. Hard to describe... like a suddenly gone freewheel then grabbed
