2014 Toyota Prius Plug-In to Start Under $30,000

    Yup, they really had to do this and like GM they seem to have been selling at well below MSRP for awhile so this may not be much of a change in the actual price paid by most customers.

    After this change and assuming you qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit, the MSRP of the Prius Plug-in and they Chevy Volt are about the same. I'm curious to see how the lease deals will compare.

    From the above news release:
    Does this mean that these features are an optional extra on the 2014 Advanced? In the 2012/2013, they were part of the Advanced. Is this why the price went down $4,620 on the Advanced vs. $2,010 on the Base? o_O

    I am happy. I got my 2012 base PiP for $25k after discount and fed tax.
