As the title reads. Do you wish you had waited or known about the prime or are you happy where you are?

I'm not an owner yet (no stocks), but I wouldn't consider a 4 seater car anyway. Maybe next time round if they come out with a "Prime v".

I'm ok with my Gen4 (on order), as I wouldn't know where to plug in a Prime in any case... (Assuming also the price is not outrageous and makes some economical sense)

The v has plenty of space to add 3rd party LiFePo battery packs, especially if you remove the 6+7 seats. Let us know how you go ;-)

Hummm, Prius v+Prime . . . put sliding doors on rear and I won't have to look at the Pacifica Plug-in. Then add a better rear spoiler . . .

If it was rumored months ago for 40+ EV range I would have waited, now I might look forward for Tesla 3 hopefully their reliability improves then.

I'm very happy with my current Four and my position on the Tesla Three waiting list...

I'm happy with my 2016 Prius. I won't buy a four seater. The only thing I like on it more than my car is the big screen.

I'm just waiting for my Tesla Model 3 I reserved!

I can't imagine the Prius Prime outselling the Model 3 because of the 3's low price.

    Oh yeah! I forgot.

I read this thing on a CA government website that said the current hov CA stickers will expire in 2019. I had the old yellow ones on my 05 until they expired in 2011.

Nope. I don't have a garage so charging wouldn't be feasible. (although my husband and I had a short discussion about the possibility of moving for a plug in) Beyond that, a 4 seater would be a no go.

Extensions have been made available in the past. No guarantee for the future though.

As Frodoz is want to say, I don't even have a dog in this fight, but if I had a 2016, especially considering the mpg owners are getting, I wouldn't be fazed by the new Prius Plug-In. Once more, it's a mod'd regular Prius, and this time the accommodations for larger battery are more extreme.

The Financial news is saying Telsa is going to have a very hard time getting the 3 out before 2019 and all that down payment is heading toward current production (they are having money troubles) ... Now if the Prius Prime and had a 50+ battery range I would have waited if the price was not far north $40K

I will be happy with my 2016 4 atc/cp that should be here in 3+ weeks :)

After going to a research event in February to critique the Prime, I bought a Touring Four soon after, I disliked it so much. It looks like the only change made since then was a black center console.

Black centre console is an accessory.
