So anyone have any experience with this new beast and what the MPG might really be?
    Retail 50ish and discount 43K.

Was wanting to wait for the 2019 RAV 4 Hybrid.

There any difference between 2018 and 2019?

If not, we own the sister of the platform the RX450h and it has been getting 29 mpg highway for my wife. She’s no hypermiler and it just crested 15 k miles.

I drive it occasionally and can push it to 32 mpg, which isn’t bad considering how heavy they are.

My avatar is the best I could do and 37.3 mpg ain’t too bad.

Good luck with your decision (y).

No difference. 2019 should be the last year for this generation (which came out for the 2014 MY and was updated in 2017). Most of the midlife update was to the gas version (start-stop and 8-speed auto were added).
