2020 prime limited: Help getting Apple Car play to work

I've not been able to get apple car play to work on my 2020 prime limited. I think this model and year should support a usb wired iphone to run car play. When I connect my iphone to the car near the console (lightning to USBA cable). I can see my phone's cell info on the Prius screen but I cannot get my google maps to display on the factory screen.
I also get this prompt to download the Entune app. Do I Need to do this? I do not see this app in the apple app store but see a connect your Toyota App which then takes me to a fee/service thing. I thought Car play was free and supported google maps and was supposed to be functional on a 2020 prime limited.

I am hoping that someone has been sucessful using Car Play in a 2020 prime, and if yes, could you please either message or post on the forum (to help others struggling with this) your method to get this to work?

I found the solution to make Apple Car Play work on my car. The car was seeing my phone just fine but I did not realize that you have to touch the Projection Button and a menu will pop up saying Apple Car play is available and do you want to activate it. Selecting Yes,
I unplugged my phone and re-plugged it in and the Apple Car Play app launched allowing me to use Google Maps etc. from my phone.

Hope this helps someone else with a similar problem.
