I have two things I want to address with my car. First I wanted to install for fitting mudflaps which requires me to remove both the front and rear tires to drill small holes into the plastic casing to secure. in order to do so I need to jack up my car. I think I found the first checkpoint in the front and based on the manual it seems that I don’t put the check on the bolt but in front of it is that right? Unfortunately, my low profile jackstand is not low profile enough and so the way I reached that point was to first use the OEM scissor jack on the pinch weld to lift the car a little and then I was able to put my jack on that point after turning my wheel. Afterwards my plan is to place a Jack stand on the pinch weld and work on my front wheel.

next for the rear wheel I had a lot of trouble finding what and where I’m supposed to put my Jack. I found the pinch weld, but I can’t seem to find any new videos or pictures of where the check goes in an all-wheel-drive in the manual isn’t helping much. I’ve attached photos.

Finally, I want to clean out my AC evaporator as I have a mildew smell. I already ordered an evaporator cleaner, however I couldn’t find the tube that’s supposed to be in the passenger side after I pull back the carpet. Underneath the carpet, there is a gray insulator and I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to remove the clear plastic clips too. Find the drain tube or not. I was planning on taking a look under the car once it was lifted to see if I could find where the evaporator drains too as well but if there’s a way to do it safely in the passenger side, I would prefer that.

Front looks good, not so sure about rear. Clearer Owners Manual pic:

for front point rolling front wheels onto low rise ramps gives you more clearance to get jack under, and safer than scissor jack.

A flat rubber cradle looks best for front, and steel cup-style cradle for rear.

Chocks (not checks), heavy rubber ones, are good, both sides of both wheels that stay on the ground.
