Does anyone know for sure what the max amp draw is on the 2023 Prius Prime for level 2 charging? I am clear on what this was for the last gen, just wondering if anyone knows about the new one. Thanks.

The maximum amp draw for the 2023 is the same as prior Prime gen for level 2 charging .Both of them have the same onbord charger spec, that is 16Amp AC for 240V supply hense level 2 will be longer to charge a gen5 since the battery is larger than the gen 4 Prime. So a 20 amp at 240v line circuit is required.

The oe evse and aftermarket charging cables use 14 gauge wire, which is usually rated to 15 amps. Regardless of the 15-50 amp wiring to the evse, the charging cable is the last link. I believe the 2023 is a 3.3 kw charge on 240 v. like before.
