26" winter wipers?

    I'd like to switch to winter wipers for the winter. The regular wipers are 26" and 18" but I haven't been able to find a 26" winter wiper. The longest at Toyota dealers here is 24". I think Canadian Tire sells 28" winter wipers, but the one I checked was out of stock.

    Has anyone found a 26" winter wiper?

    Has anyone tried 28"?

    Would 24" be okay? (I look through the top area of the windshield so I'd prefer not to lose much cleaning at the top.)

    My local Toyota dealer sold me the somewhat shorter 24 inch winter blade, and so far it works fine. Have parked at malls for 3-4 hours and after checking to see the blades are not frozen to the glass, they work fine.

    If you use the stock blade in temps much below -18 C, they quickly freeze and LARGE areas of the windshield are not wiped.

    I've got the 28" driver's side blade - I'm tall and love having the extra cleared area.
