I would like to install an after market horn (Oooga) on my 2010 Prius. I asked my dealer to give me a 12V output and was told they wouldn't do it. I found an accessory that will plugs into the place of one fuse and gives me that fused ling and another fuse with a 12V wire output wire. I hesitate to drill a hole on the fuse box under the hood for fear of voiding my warranty.

Anybody (audiophiles? Fog Light Philes?) have a better way to get 12V out?

In the fuse box under the hood, there is a 12V tap. There is also holes under the box where you can run wires up from the underside.
See the instructions on installing foglights in the 2010.

I can see why you would want to use that type of horn with a "1010" Prius. :D

Don't worry, your warranty already expired 1000 years ago!

Does your 1010 need coconuts to run? Don't give Sir Robin a ride.:p

You don't need to drill a hole anyway. The bottom front area of the fuse box is open ~ I ran a wire for my fogs up through it. I would use one of the large open spade lugs in there to supply your horns because there's ample current available at those points. If your not sure which connections these are, check out the fog light sticky for a good pic of fuse box area.
