    Of course it will. It’ll be at least the same as the 5, if not more. It’s also 1-2 size class bigger than the Bolt.

    That things is comically ugly. Like not as in, "I'm not big on that design," but as in finger-pointing and laughing.

    Now let's see if they can actually manage to make them or if they have waiting lists and dealer markups on this one too. When I looked into the Ioniq 5 I found the local Hyundai dealerships to be particularly slimy, even by stealership standards. They would lie in person on the phone and tell you they had one in stock ready for you to come down and test drive and buy, but if you took them up on it they'd claim to have sold it while you were on your way to your appointment and they didn't have time to text or call to let you know, but hey can we interest you in this Kona.

    My only concern is the rather plasticky door panels (front and rear) that reminds me of the Gen 2 Prius. It's barely acceptable on the Gen 2 at US$20,000/Cdn$30,000 but on a $40-$50k car, Hyundai should be criticised for that. It's the same on the Ioniq 5 (although I heard that the Limited does have soft-touch front door panels but I've yet to sit in a Limited to confirm. I've sat in a lower trim, and it's all hard plastic and not the nice kind). The EV6 has soft-touch front panels and hard rear (Same as Prius/Prius Prime) but the rear door plastic looks and feels nicer.
