I have these tires coming tomorrow. They were $202.97 shipped for all 4 on ebay.

The Solar 4XS receive good reviews and reviewers claim a smooth quiet ride, a deep aggressive tread pattern, 3 ply construction, 45k limited treadwear warranty and most sizes cost under $50 each shipped.

They may not be Goodyear ComforTred or General Altimax but I'm hoping they are a decent alternative for those of us on a limited budget.

Thanks! I assume you're referring to the tire size? I hope I don't loose anything.

I found more than a few quotes about tire sizes on Prius chat and saved them. There was no mention of mpg loss or I wouldn't have ordered the 205. Hopefully, the loss will be negligible.

205/60r15 work fine on the base wheels, and look better than stock too. corrects the speedo too.
205/60r15 works great. had em on the '04, have em on the '05
I had 205/60r15's on my '04 for years, they look much better, ride better, way better handling and braking, and make the speedo more accurate. I didn't notice any loss of mileage.

i was referring to rolling resistance. the oems are 'low rolling resistance'. not sure there's a standard though.

The tires arrived today. I like them a lot. Smooth and quiet.

I put about 100 miles on them and they seem to be everything the reviews say. At $50 each including shipping, it's a really good deal for what you get.

The 205/60/15 looks good too and really fills in the wheel well nicely. The tires look like they fit the car now.
