Hey guys, i finally got me new prius, its an 07 with 49K miles.

It didnt come with factory HID's, but i have a new set of aftermarket, 50W 5000K dual beam HIDs that are coming in this weekend.

I will be taking some before and after pics. I have the same version on my jeep and they are much brighter than standard HID's!

Just one word of advice...keep an eye on your headlight housing. The 50-55w HID kits are notorious for creating too much kit for on some housings.

Tons of such stories on e46fanatics.com (99-06 BMW 3 series forum; happened to both people with halogen and projectors, mostly DDM Tuning and Apex and other European-marketed stuff).

Halogen Reflectors + HID bulbs at HID lumens = bad and dangerous for you and other drivers.

I have 6000K on my HID housing lights. I also installed 5000K on the 01 prius with shields for glare
