Thought I'd post the receipt of my free (!) 5K service. There is an item for a "replaceable element" that i'm not familiar with. I know the gasket is a thing that goes next to the filter, i think.

Kinda surprised they changed the oil since the sticky says all oil changes are now @ 10K miles. Oh, well. I'm sure my car appreciates the new oil.

How old is your Prius? I thought all the Prius's sold over the last 9 months came with free Toyota Care (25,000 miles or 2 years).

The "replaceable element" is the oil filter cartridge. It should have come with the O-ring which seals the filter canister cap.

The "gasket" seals the oil drain plug.

Doesn't hurt to get that original factory oil out of there early. As a plus, they used the correct type of oil (0W-20)! :)
