6 x 9 speakers???

In case anyone is wondering: they fit perfectly!

I had a little time on my hands this afternoon, so I decided to install some new 6.5" speakers in the rear doors. Well, I started on the drivers side and realized I would need a new bracket to hold the new speaker.

While I was checking things out, I noticed there is a LOT of real estate between the door panel and the door. So, I drilled in a 6x9 speaker and it fit and sounded great with my amp!

Only got a chance to do that one side (ran out off time), will do the passenger side in the morning before heading off to work. I'll do the fronts next week using the 6.5's and my '12 C will sound like it never did before.

So, if you want a little extra sound, the 6x9's have the room!
