60.1 mpg over 67 miles

    Another reason I love my Prius. Gas prices are $3.39 here. Rising quick. This is the best mileage I've got yet. Normal route consisting of traffic around 45-55 mph, and 25 mph.

    It would be cool to go 60 miles, 60 MPG, 60 MPH AVG.

    I have come close. You have to drive faster then 60MPH to get the average up.

    I can image it wouldn't be that great, compared to what we are used to getting. Considering it recovers much energy from brakes, etc to use later on. Simply using a gas engine in a Prius would yield much worse mileage than we are used to.
    That would be pretty sweet!
