I am beginning to understand where that <2008 EPA 60mpg local # comes from. The normally 3hr RT took 4hr but net 5% increase in MPG. Some stop and go traffic, no drafting.

    Wow, 60 mpg? That's impressive!

Over Thanksgiving the MFD reported 48.5 mpg over ~240 miles to/from LA/SD. But we were doing 75-80 the whole way, so I am really happy with the mileage. Got stuck in a bit of traffic each way and mileage jumped over 75 mpg for those 5 minute segments. :)
