65 mm 14 flute Oil filter housing 1.8l vs 3.5

    RE oil filter housing...can 1.8 l housing be switched out with larger 3.5 housing to increase oil filter size. Or is this like monitoring engine with aftermarket gauges...rpm, oil pressure or temp, coolant and battery voltage ---just a waste of effort , time and money?

    You might be able to find an oil filter relocation kit that will fit this so you can use a larger filter:

    As far as gauges, the Scangauge II from Linear Logic can monitor all of your listed parameters except oil pressure I believe.

    If you're going to mount an oil filter relocation kit, then mounting an oil pressure sensor might be done along with that.
