A/C - What if ND-OIL 11 was not used

My 2005 Prius is having A/C problems after having been in a front end crash. I don't know if the repair shop knew that only ND-OIL 11 is supposed to be used in the Prius compressor. The dealership said the A/C system was undercharged so they evacuated and recharged system. It seems to work a bit better, but still has problems.

What happens if something other than ND 11 was used? Is there a way to check if it is the wrong oil? If they did use the wrong oil, what is the best way to fix the problem?
