Just want to say a proud new owner. Current ODO reading is 497 miles. Didn't figure out how to get to this display until I got over a hundred miles. Gas price going up lately at $3.70/gallon regular as I filled up my other vehicle. Averaging 54mpg mixed city and hwy and close to 500 miles in just 4 days.

Very nice! Try and avoid 60 mpg tanks. They are terribly addicting.

I don't know about hitting 60mpg with the number of miles I drive each week but won't hurt to try. It surely is addictive to raise the bar. :)

Yes! It is addicting to try and make it to 60mpg. I'm averaging around 52mpg right now. The best I've seen so far is 56mpg using my "Ultragauge" Sometimes I look like a slow grandpa trying to keep it in the ECO mode below the half way point on the dash display. But I'm lovin it, especially when large "Hick" trucks, "SUV,s" and "Van" soccer moms floor it past me. I love to smell the exhaust of fast burning fuel $$$.

Here in Seaside my last tank for all around driving was 46.4 mpg calculated.

In summer it would be at least 50 mpg calculated.

    :welcome:

I am loving the tech on my 2012 Prius that is allowing me to get 50.25 on my short fill-up of 211 miles of 50.25 mpg. Each day is a learning experience. I work in sales, so I am used to taking each day (or in this case) as something I can learn from.

Got my car on Monday and filled up the tank on Wednesday after 211 miles. That was based on three highway trips back and forth to the dealer . The low I got in the mean time was like 40mpg with a a high of 58mpg.

I am looking forward to the long term here. Given my 20/27 on my old 2003 Baja... the Prius will be icing on the cake...
