    Nice. Sounds like a good attitude test for stranded PHEV owner's "should I get the gas, or the electricity....hmm...lets see":noidea:

    Long time AAA members here. Sounds like they are keeping "current".

    Two thoughts:

    1 ) EV'rs need to contact their local people to see if they are in fact part of the program - maybe encourage expansion to YOUR area, if you're not.

    2 ) (warning - humor approaching) Why not just have ANY AAA truck tow your EV around ... and let the re-gen do all the work? ... It'd save AAA the cost of a bunch of L2 and L3 charger! ;) seriously - I DID read about someone in the European community that has already done this ... and it does work! as long as you don't mind voiding your warranty - which specifically states that Leafs are NOT to be towed.
