Peace reigns again at Priuschat. I saw offensive threads disappearing, and lo and behold, Evan and Tony were here, slaughtering trolls.

    MMmMmmmmm Spammmmm!

The taste is still in the back of my throat. Spam was a food staple for me for two years off the California coast on a small swordfishing boat, along with peanut butter and jelly. We would go out for about a week at a time or less looking for swords and anchor at which ever channel island was the closest. Our favorite was Pyramid Cove at the southern end of San Clemente Island, and Catalina Harbor on the backside of Santa Catalina Island. We would fry it in the morning with eggs, eat it raw (out of the can) in the afternoon for lunch and BBQ it at night for dinner. This would be interspiced with various seafood delicacies such as Lobster, Abalone when the water wasn’t too cold, swordfish, Halibut or Seabass. Occasionally the yachters would pull up to us and offer to trade their steaks for swordfish funny they would never accept our spam and we would agree as long as dinner was on board their vessel. LOL!
