ABS error codes stored?

aloha,

I had the abs, brake, skid lights go on a week and a half ago. After much education from this site I integrated that my obd2 reader wasnʻt pulling the abs error codes and that my 2012 might fall in the ZJB customer service protocol.

Gave in and went to the local shop, Iʻd never use for actual service, but didnʻt want to drive to my mechanic / dealership an hour away until I knew what was going on.

They pulled codes c1391 (and u0073) and cleared the codes. Iʻve got an appointment with the dealership next week to ensure my car qualifies for the CSP service.

My questions is does the ABS error code system save cleared codes the same way the check engine system does?
