installed both front wheel beaing hubs and replaced the front speed sensors and replaced brakes. Now I have the (!) abs VSC lights on and my speedometer doesn’t work. Tried to reset the lights using the paper clip method and nothing. Also need to know where to start on the speedometer not working?

    Thank you
    Randy

What everybody calls "the paper clip method" is a method for finding out what the trouble codes are (you count the blinks of the dash lights), but so many people use it only as a way to clear the codes, and then post about not knowing what the trouble is.

In this case it's probably a safe bet that if you read the trouble codes, they will be speed-sensor-related. There's a test procedure in the repair manual (more info) intended to be run after any time the bearings or sensors have been worked on, to confirm the work was properly done. Have you been through that procedure?

It just involves entering a test mode and then driving a certain pattern at a certain speed. It is more sensitive to errors than the car's normal mode, so it will catch problems quickly; that's why it's intended as a verification step after doing any work on those parts.
