Hey guys, new to the forum and this is my first Prius. 2006 with 260k miles. Recently noticed that the AC didn't blow cold. My gut feeling is that I need empty and evap the system, then readd refrigerant.

    Compressor turns on
    AC diagnostic code 42
    Low Pressure 6lbs
    High Pressure 75lbs
No bubbles in peep hole, just a stream/trickle.

Always first replace your cabin air filter... As for A/C it's a variable pressure system so you need an exact measurement by weight of refrigerant and oil to exact specs. Very difficult to DIY and risk of shortening lifespan of AC unit if you aren't accurate enough.

The pressures look like low 134 charge, the question is where is it leaking out?
