Aftermarket install of Homelink Dimming mirror/SF Bay Area

    I do believe I am getting one of these and was wondering...I have seen people on PC citing installation prices they have been quoted from like $49 to gazillion$49. Has anyone in the San Francisco Bay area had this done by someone they can recommend (yes, for an '06 that has the airbag wiring avoidance issues).

    Have you consulted with any local dealers?

    If it is a Toyota branded mirror (the Mirrors are made by another party, but Toyota buys them and then includes any special mounting hardware and apropriate instructions) have you consulted with any dealers? I'd start there, but just about any body shop or car customizer should be able to do the job.

    I'm sorry I cannot comment regarding the SFBay area. Anyway, I saw this unanswered post and wanted to bump it so it would get more attention from those who might be in the know.
