    Hello Folks,

I have a Gen II problem with my air conditioning. The air conditioning works; however, the air is stuck blowing in the defrost setting. I think there is some problem with the Air Mix Servo. In my non Prius cars they called the part a blend door actuator. Long story short, the air will not move to the front vents or anywhere else. That said, I can't hear the servo moving at all. Thoughts?

I'd assume the Prius also has this door. However, it also has electronics to decide if the car needs heating, cooling, or defrosting. So the problem could be mechanical or electrical. Are you using the Auto A/C mode? Maybe try turning that off, and selecting the blower speed and head/foot/defrost setting individually, and see if anything changes. Sorry I can't be of more help.
