Air Outlet Damper Sticking

The arm attached to the Air Outlet Damper Servo is frozen. It was squeaking for a while and now it makes a clicking noise when it tried to engage the arm because it's frozen.

Here's the thing, the environmental controls all work just fine. And the servo engages even when the Enviro controls are off.

The only issue is the clicking noise. I'm thinking about just disconnecting the power connector as everything works.

As anyone else run into this? What did you do?

I could take the dash apart, disassemble, clean and lube the components, then reassemble, to make the sound go away but it's hard to see the value in doing that.
