I have an '05 Prius and I volunteer as a Chaplain for our Sheriff's Dept. I want to install mt radio antenna on the roof, but am afraid of snaking wire through the trim because of all the airbags installed. A friend suggested that I just disconnect the aux battery and then I wouldn't have to worry about setting off any of the airbags when I remove trim, but I don't know... Any suggestions?

Yes, your friends advice is good - if you will be working in areas where the airbag(s) can deploy, you should disconnect the 12V battery and wait for at least 90 seconds before proceding. That is the standard warning for the SRS system.
