Some nice features on the Fusion Energi.

    • Illuminated centre console box
    • Choice of USB and 12V outlet - it has a set at the bottom of the console in the open air tray and another set inside the centre console box
    • 5" tall pass-through for skis/snowboard. I think it's the only PHEV sedan that has a pass-through
    • Downhill "regen assist" button (basically tells the hybrid system that you're going downhill and to be a bit more aggressive with regen
    • Available full luxury trim - Platinum (similar to the Vignale in Europe). Quilted leather bolster, contrast piping, perforated Nappa leather with heated/cooled front seats and 10-way power passenger seat

The 2017 is also getting a minor boost in efficiency and EV range; a mile or two.

prices start at 31k? not bad at all. 27k after fed tax credit is fabulous.
looks a little snug in the back seat. trunk doesn't look horrible, but tough on long trips.
leather looks comfy, and i love the shifter, it's about time! hello toyota?
alex does a nice job with details, thanks tide!(y)

Probably the best video on the FFE I have seen. Seriously considering this as a replacement for one of the Prii. Love the FFH our daughter is driving. Much more comfortable and quiet than those two red cars. Only thing is finding a dealer who knows the product. Our local Ford doesn't even sell the FFE.
