On a 2010, has anyone measured the amount of engine oil to add to get from the first dipstick dot to the second one?

And how much oil is in the engine when the dipstick is on the first (emptyish) dot?

1.4 qts I believe. So at the bottom dot there is around 3 qts left in the engine. Check that oil! These 3rd gens are known for burning oil, especially after 150k and under heavy loads

Hmm, I've been working on the assumption that the full and fill dots represent 1.6 quarts. There are other threads on this, which I will now have to go research. My figure comes from an authority around these parts, Patrick Wong. I believe he stated that the dimension is the same on the Gen II and Gen III, even though the III holds more oil.

My manual specifically states 1.6 quarts or 1.5 liters. Doesn't yours?
    4.4-1.6=2.8.
