    She used to be quiet hot, before she became a strung-out druggie. She's quite talented, though, and there's something a bit hot about that.

    I feel the same way. A lot of musicians are much hotter when you listen to their music and imagine what they are like, as opposed to finding out what they really are like. Paul Simon summed it up nicely in Kodachrome when he said something to the effect of: "can't match my sweet imagination..." That's why Internet flirting is do dangerous: You fill in all of the little details with your imagination, and imagination is way more clever than a real person.

    :(The before and after pix are a really sad commentary for Amy. I know she is very talented, but by giving her Grammy's and buying her CDs, aren't we "feeding her very obvious habit"?

    She seemed/looked high last night during her performance and her acceptance "speech" for Best Album was truly sad.

    Looking at the before and after pictures, I'd say 'hot' for the first one, and 'shot' for the second. Like youth is wasted on the young, wealth is wasted on the famous. Or is that wasted by the famous? Or are they just plain wasted?

    As for her looks, I say "No, No, No." . . . she needs to get her scrawny butt into "rehab."

    As for her career, yeah, it's hot right now . . . but, because of the drugs, it won't last long. I give her a couple of years till we read her obituary. Then she will just be another one of those "who-was-that-artist-person-who-overdosed?" trivia questions.

    The good news is that she is in rehab. Again.
    Let's hope she stays there for awhile.

    She does have a lot of raw talent, and I'd hate to see her have anything other than a long long career.

    I am actually an Amy-newbie. I just bought her second album 72 hours ago.

    Ok, her music sucks, but I think she looks absoloutly gorgeous when she had those nice curves to her.
