An electronic fix for a P0420 error code

    I found this video of interesting electronic fix to eliminate the reporting of a P0420 error code on a Honda. I think it might work the same way on a Prius. It might be worth a try for someone who has this issue.

    This was over on toymods years ago before you tube. I've seen it work on a 94 Corolla. And a Camry. Maybe a few variations in the numbers values of the parts

    I am glad you posted this though I need to do this to my '09 and see if this will just eliminate the nonsense going forward I've just been leaving the code It doesn't seem to bother anything and hear where I live they laugh at that light and give you an inspection sticker

    Spark plug anti foulers work great. A lot of the guys who modify 1uz cars (sc400, gs400, ls400) will run the engine in something without catalytic converters and put the 90* brass spark plug anti foulers in and the car thinks everything is good to go, no check engine lights.

    I tried this it did not work. Just use the non-fouler it works
