I’m not seeing any real value in that. Cord’s last automobiles were back on the edge of living memory. Not enough nostalgia for the buyers. And if I’m spending money to brand a new car? I’m not naming it after one of the nuisance factors. Nobody sells ICE cars under the brand “Gaspump."

wow, that's a beautiful car. i'll take one with a tesla drive train please

there was a guy on american pickers who bought deusenberg i think, but he got a ton of parts to go along with it.
another guy in texas bought delorean, also with parts. those deals probably make more sense

Despite the fact that they hail from my beloved home state (IN) and they're insanely cool, there's a REASON that Cords have never come back from their 80+ year slumber.

    Sometimes?
    Poisoned apples work.
After all, they didn't call them the brothers GRIM for nothing!!

Automotive competition chicanery notwithstanding, the Cord was always a very upscale car, with a very limited market.
I'm not sure that it would translate well into a 2020's car - and I'm fairly happy with that.
I'm not sure that I would want to see a bunch of Cord knockoffs running around with nonagenarians trying to poke on infotainment systems while trying to keep those big chrome bumpers from doing what big chrome bumpers do.

Sleeping Beauty is ageless partially because she never aged. ;)
