One of my friends is a big garmin fan.
I have pkg #6, so I have bluetooth in the spaceship.
I keep toying with the idea of getting a gps unit.....
what would be the reason(s) to get a GPS unit with bluetooth?

also are they difficult to install?

    thanks

Get a Garmin unit with text to Speech capability - It will announce street names instead saying "turn right ahead".

Also make sure it has the latest high sensitivity chip set - I think is's SiRf. You don't need Bluetooth, since you have a great Bluetooth system in the car.

Garmin has great tech support if you need it. The unit should just plug in and work without any fuss. You might have to read some very simple instructions.

    Good Luck!

Don't need bluetooth. Your car is already a giant headset lol.

TTS is a pretty cool feature like syclone said. SiRF-III is the latest chip and the new Nuvis will use it.

oh and I can't see any reason getting a GPS unit with bluetooth since you already have it in the car unless your other car(s) don't have it and you want BT.
