Antenna on Gen 2 XM Ready Prius

    Hello all,

    Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the antenna on a 2009 Gen 2 XM ready Prius Touring is able to receive the XM signal itself or if I will need to install a seperate antenna for XM. I can't find a solid answer anywhere.

    The antenna is fine,but you neef the module if you can't tune to xm radio. My ex and i both have 2009 prii mine has working xm her didn't but both had the same jbl system.went to Toyota and was told theres an additional module needed to unlock the xm capability.
